Job Description
Job Summary:
Manages clinical patient care activities, workflow and nursing resources.
Responsibilities:
Makes administrative decisions and provides appropriate notification to the administrator on call.
Responds to patient care complaints and ensures all complaints are handled in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or legal compliance requirements.
Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff. Serves as a resource to clinical staff in connection with dealing with complex or complicated patients.
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Facilitates education and training of staff.
Participates in quality assurance/improvement initiatives. Ensures compliance with applicable standards of care and regulatory requirements.
Monitors and adheres to the budget to ensure compliance.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
Certified Advanced Life Support specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Certified Pediatric Advnced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Specialty certifications may be preferred based upon clinical practice area.
Education:
Diploma
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of experience required. Management experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
