Job Description
Job Summary:
The Quality Improvement Specialist organizes and coordinates quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinates quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
+ Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
+ Supports activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
+ Analyzes and reports on data collected from a variety of sources. Develops detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
Education:
+ Bachelor of Applied Science.
+ Bachelor's degree in the healthcare field or business required. BSN preferred. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
+ Three years of relevant experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
